I’m an award-winning Los Angeles-based Cinematographer. My creative process focuses on collaboration and building strong relationships with directors in order to truly understand and connect with the emotional undertones of their stories.
Growing up in Ithaca, New York, I developed a visual style deeply influenced by grounded realism and natural beauty. It was my lifelong passion for photography that eventually led me to build a more technical foundation in cinematography. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Film Production from Hofstra University and my Master of Fine Arts in Cinematography from Loyola Marymount University.
My biggest career aspiration is to help people. Whether that means bringing a compelling story to life on screen, or teaching the craft of cinematography and lighting, being of service to others is what drives me as both an artist and a human being.
Painting with light, framing with purpose.
